Childbirth Education Classes
Whether you call them Lamaze or prepared childbirth or…. breathing classes… You’re probably going to want to take a Childbirth Education Class. Even if you have read every pregnancy book out there, your partner might need to hear it from someone else. Regardless, we’ve got you covered. We offer classes to meet pretty much every different kind of situation you can imagine. We’ll cover the physiology of pregnancy and birth, comfort measures, and what to do if things don’t go as planned.
Virtual Classes – 300
We offer classes via zoom anywhere in the world. Your classes will be tailored to your situation and will be one instructor with one family. You’ll get an email of the handouts via email the day of the class and you can ask all the questions you want. Classes are typically scheduled three weeks in a row at the same time, for two hours per class.
In Person Classes – Individual – 300
These classes will be held in an agreed upon location (usually your home!) where you can feel comfortable and relaxed while we talk. You’ll get handouts for you and your partner during class and no questions are off limits. Believe me when I tell you I have probably been asked whatever thing you’re thinking of right now… at least twice. Classes are typically scheduled three weeks in a row at the same time, for two hours per class. If you need to do a one or two day class, arrangements can be made.
In Person Classes – Groups – starting at 200/family
When people think of Childbirth Education Class they generally picture the movies or tv shows where there are several couples sitting around and getting to know each other between awkward videos from the 1970s. This is JUST LIKE THAT…minus the videos. And I probably won’t make you chant or anything. Classes can be arranged for a minimum of three families and up to eight. The more families you have…the less each pays. BONUS if you have a house where all of us can fit, your class will be free. Classes are typically scheduled three weeks in a row at the same time, for two hours per class. There is NO option in place to make up a missed group class.
