About
My name is Kim...
Birth has been a part of my life for over 30 years. For a long time, I served families as a doula—holding space, offering support, and witnessing some of the most powerful moments a person can experience. While I’m no longer offering doula services, my connection to the birth community hasn’t changed. If anything, it’s become more focused. Now, I tell these stories through my lens. As a birth photographer, I bring more than just technical skill into the room. I bring instinct. I know how to read the energy of a space, anticipate what’s coming next, and move quietly so that nothing feels interrupted or staged. Most of the time, you won’t even notice I’m there—and that’s exactly the point. Because birth isn’t a performance. It’s a deeply personal, powerful, and often unpredictable experience. My role is to honor that by documenting it honestly, respectfully, and without intrusion. If you’re looking for someone who understands both the emotion and the rhythm of birth—and who will preserve it with care—I would be honored to be part of your story.
